Enjoying a movie
Your neighbor is a young mom
With her new baby in tow
The baby is fast asleep in mommy’s lap, smiling to some dream
Unmindful of the blaring music in the movie

You are looking at the display in a home decor shop
You walk past a cracked mirror
The edge is cracked and cut into tiny pieces
Suddenly the Sun hits the mirror at the cracked edge
The mirror is transformed into a work of art
Light dazzling out off so many pieces

A pair of pigeons have chosen your balcony to start their family
You watch as the couple fuss over the spot
The female struts about inspecting
The male brings one twig after another
With a feverish speed
Until the female is satisfied
And as you watch, the twigs are magically organized into a nest
Ready to welcome the eggs

A pleasant post-dinner walk
You happen to glance up
A full yellow moon in the sky
Lighting up the spire of an exquisitely carved marble temple

You visit the market to buy your vegetables
Rows upon rows of fruits and vegetables all stacked neatly
The colors, the smells, the sights
The variety of shapes, sizes, and tastes
The freshness of the leafy greens
The thought of the delicacies these will lend themselves to

You are chatting with some friends on the street
A car passes by
An adorable dog sticks his head out of the back seat window
Lapping up the breeze as the car moves
