You have lived on this earth
Traveled through time, and space
Walked on this earth
Breathed this air
Again, and again
You have lived on this earth
Many many times
Among the camels in Rajasthan
And the reindeer in the Arctic
You have lived on this earth
A farmer in Egypt
A warrior in Mongolia
An artist in Florence
You have lived on this earth
You have loved, lost, and cried
And when you see them again now
You feel an unknown tug, from long ago
You have lived on this earth
Been burned, tortured
Ripped, and you have died
Died over and over
You sometimes feel a gripping fear, you don’t know why
You have lived on this earth
So many lives, so many places
You lost count, you lost track
But you learned a little each time
And you got a little better in each life
You have lived on this earth
Wisdom gathered across generations in your soul
The soul remembers the lessons
Guides you through this, and the next
Listen! Listen!
You have lived on this earth
You hear voices from somewhere deep inside
Your soul, your essence, your wisdom
Painstakingly collected, saved, recollected
Listen! Listen!
Let your old voices guide you!
Recently read the book Many Lives, Many Masters. I am still trying to wrap my head around everything in the book.
